Educational Qualifications:-Essential qualification is for above Jr. Engineer Trainee posts is
i) Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline
ii) Knowledge of Hindi is compulsory (Devanagari Script)
(Note- Diploma received with Distance Education candidates are not eligible for this recruitment)
Age Limit as on 01.01.2013 : Eligible age is between 18 to 35 years as on crucial date. Upper age relaxation is available as follow. SC/ST /OBC (Not creamy layer) of Uttar Pradesh Domicile is eligible up to 05 years upper age relaxation.
Pay Band / Salary:- For this Junior Engineer Trainee posts salary will be paid in the Pay Band -2 as follow.Pay Scale 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs 4200/- + DA and all admissible allowances as per the UPPCL rules
Selection Process:- Selection is based on two successive stages. i) Computer Based Test (CBT) ii) Interview CBT will be conducted at following centres. Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra, Kanpur, Barrelly, Lucknow, Gaziabad and Mearut cities. The Examination Structure /Scheme is available at Advertisement. Note:- The CBT is containing Negative Marks for wrong answers. So attempt only well Known answers Only.
Application Fee:- SC/ST (UP Domicile Only) shall Pay Rs 700/- and remaining all candidates need to pay Rs 1000/- for Application processing fee through ATM/Debit Card, Net Banking, Challan form fro State Bank of India.
